Ognjen Stojanović from Serbia was again the best in the men's competition this year at the 18th international sprint triathlon cup "Kulin Ban Boračko jezero 2021".
In the women's competition in the main race, Alena Detan Karlović from Triathlon Club "Petar Zrinski" from Zagreb was the fastest.
Mustafa Jamak from Bosnia and Herzegovina won second and Dragan Jovanović from Montenegro third place in the men's category of the competition, while Aleksandra Tot from Triathlon Club Kotor and Alenka Urdih Štefanac from Triathlon Club Petar Zrinski - Zagreb took second and third place respectively. , competing in three disciplines alternately that make up a sprint triathlon – swimming 750 meters, cycling 20 kilometers, and running 5 kilometers.
The cup was organized by the Triathlon Association of BiH with the sponsorship and partnership of the Olympic Committee of Bosnia and Herzegovina and in cooperation with the Triathlon and Pentathlon Association in FBiH.
Over 100 male and female competitors from Bosnia and Herzegovina and the region took part in the sports event at Boračko Lake.
The goal of the project is the promotion and development of triathlon sports in Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as the promotion of tourist destinations in the Herecegova-Neretva Canton and the Municipality of Konjic, with the ultimate goal of making Boračko jezero the regional center of triathlon sports in this part of Europe.
